THE SMALL PRINT, MADE READABLE
Privacy Notice
How RapTake handles photos, videos, account details, payments and support requests.
Last updated: 2026-11-04
This notice covers the public RapTake service at raptake.com. For privacy questions or a deletion request, use Contact & feedback or Account support. Do not send identity documents or extra photos unless a specific, secure verification process asks for them.
Information we process
We process your account email, sign-in details and, if you choose Google sign-in, the profile information Google shares for authentication. Email sign-in uses a verification code. We do not receive your Google password.
For a video request, we process the uploaded photos, permission confirmation, song, scene and format selections, generated character image, video and processing records. Photos contain personal likenesses; only upload adult photos you are authorized to use. We use reference photos for generation and moderation, not to offer a face-identification service or a cloned voice.
We store order identifiers, pack and policy snapshots, payment state, currency, amount and allowance usage so that balances, refunds and disputes can be handled correctly. PayPal processes payment credentials; do not send card or bank details to RapTake support.
Support records contain what you submit, linked task/order metadata and replies. Requests submitted without sign-in have a private receipt; keep it private. Operational records may include request identifiers, timestamps, network/security information, errors and limited product-interaction events used to operate the service and investigate failures.
Why and where processing happens
We use this information to authenticate you, prepare and deliver requested videos, check content, administer purchases, prevent abuse, investigate failures and answer support requests. Essential cookies or browser storage support sign-in, language preferences and payment/task recovery. Browser recovery identifiers do not replace server-side ownership checks.
The public service uses Cloudflare Workers for the website and APIs, D1 for account and task records, private R2 for media and temporary Containers for media processing. Private media is not published to an open bucket. Authorized downloads may use limited-purpose links, which should not be shared.
Generation requests and reference photos are sent through Kie.ai to the configured image and video models. Moderation uses SeeAPI; this can include photos, sampled video frames and relevant text. Sampled visual moderation does not audit every frame or the actual audio. Resend delivers verification and transactional messages; PayPal processes checkout, payment and refunds. Google is involved only if you choose its sign-in option. These services operate under their own terms, privacy notices, security and retention practices and may process data in other countries.
Only the information needed for a given task is sent. Payment confirmations and video-ready emails link to your signed-in account and do not attach your photos or private media URLs. Administrator reminders contain record identifiers and authenticated admin links, not support-message bodies, contact receipts or photos. Authorized operators may access records needed to resolve a request.
Retention and deletion
For new paid orders, videos remain downloadable for 30 days from first delivery. Final video files enter daily cleanup when the download window ends and are scheduled for removal within the following 7 days. Normalized uploaded photos become eligible for removal 7 days after their last related task finishes or is cancelled; unused uploads become eligible after 7 days. Scheduled processing carries out eligible cleanup. Active generation, character confirmation, uncertain results, open support, refunds and disputes can extend retention of relevant files.
Order and payment records, operational logs and support correspondence are handled separately from downloadable media and may be retained to administer the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or meet legal requirements. This notice does not claim automatic deletion of every log, support record or backup within the media window. Temporary processing files and remote provider copies have separate lifecycles; a deletion in RapTake storage does not prove immediate deletion everywhere else.
You may request access, correction, account/media deletion or help with applicable privacy rights through support. We check ownership before acting. A saved request is not confirmation that deletion has finished, and some records may need to remain for legal, security or payment reasons. Tell us which account, order or task is involved without sending secrets.
Your choices
You can stop before submitting a photo, decline a generation, download your result within its availability window and choose whether to use Google sign-in. Do not upload another person's likeness without permission. Keep your account secure and use the private support receipt only on the RapTake site.
